The COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S. is part of the worldwide pandemic of the coronavirus disease. Millions of essential frontline workers continue
to do their jobs during the pandemic, despite the hardships and health risks. Healthcare workers have shown remarkable resilience and professional dedication despite fear of becoming infected and infecting others. These hard-working heroes provide people with life-saving medicine, pick up trash, clean hospitals, deliver their groceries and packages, keep Americans fed, care for those who are most vulnerable, and keep us safe.
Front-line Friday is Alpha Media’s way to recognize those who put their life on the line every day. Although we could never repay them for all the hard work they are doing during these unprecedented times, we would like to acknowledge them.
Listeners will be asked to hashtag #1021FrontlineFriday on social media with a picture of their frontline hero every Friday. We will randomly select two winners to receive a thank you card and a small token of appreciation.
