Kehlani Speaks Out On Palestine During Tiny Desk Concert

Recently, Kehlani gave an amazing performance for NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series and made sure to show her support for Palestine, Sudan, and Congo during her set. Kehlani performed ‘Nights Like This,’ ‘Distraction,’ ‘The Way,’ and much more, but she also took some time to share her views on what’s going on overseas. She said, “I wanna take a second to say free Palestine, free Congo, free Sudan, free Yemen, free Hawaii, free Guam.” She continued, “Beyond a ceasefire, we need an end to the occupation. It’s deeper than this. I need everybody that’s here right now, everybody that’s watching to step up and use their voices.” She added, “Any difference you can make, it’s appreciated. Hire people [from those countries], send your money where it matters. We all we got.”
